- All code must be written during the event. You cannot use existing code that you have written and finish it during the event. The first and the last line should be created during the event. This is to level the playing field for all teams since there are prizes.
- Outside or “virtual” team members will not be allowed, everybody participating at the hackathon will need to be physically in attendance.
- The use of 3rd party APIs and assets are permitted, as long as you fully disclose the use of these resources.
- You can apply as an individual or a team, but we certainly recommend forming teams of 3-5 depending on what you want to accomplish during the event. We will coordinate with participants the week of the event to pair teams up if they haven’t already formed.
- Your project must fall under the theme of improving human health and wellness through the use of AR/VR technology.
- All projects must be turned in (pencils down) at 4pm on Sunday, July 24 in a format that can be executed (binaries) or displayed (PDF) easily on a Windows 10 machine with an HTC Vive connected. If you’re developing for mobile (Smartphone AR or Gear VR etc) or Hololens, you must be prepared to showcase your work to the audience and judges in a timely manner. If you cannot showcase the work, then it will not be considered for judging.
